Maintenance & Care of the Two Holy Mosques
Our most intensive and ambitious O & M projects to-date are the Operations & Maintenance activities of the holy mosques of Makkah and Madinah. There we have staff working on the new, sophisticated utility services to provide comfort and safety to millions of worshippers in the world's largest daily religious congregations in a solemn and controlled climate. O & M activities in Makkah and Madinah cover highly advanced sound, light and hydraulic systems, power plants, Zam Zam water well and Zam Zam water reservoir.

Latest Techniques & Equipments
SBGOM teams are made up of thousands of engineers, technicians, craftsmen and laborers ready to assume tasks, anywhere, anytime. We use the latest techniques and most modern devices such as the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Building Automation Control System (BACS), hundreds of CCTV, cameras and computerized microprocessor driven systems. We also maintain huge power plants and chiller plants to ensure that our great responsibilities are met to the fullest and worshippers visiting the holy places do so in safety, comfort and satisfaction.

On-call 24 Hours a Day
Most of our teams are on 24-hour call basis. Specialized crews work around-the-clock operating and maintaining the essential services.

Sophisticated Sound System
Our team of professional sound engineers and technicians has the difficult task of operating and maintaining the extensive sound system at the Holy Haram in Makkah. The indoor system has been recently designed and wired. The scope of the Operation and Maintenance includes thousands of speakers, amplifiers, microphones, operation boards and standby systems. These are the world's largest and most sophisticated sound systems. The operation is crucial for religious services and information for hundreds of thousands of worshippers in Makkah and Madinah and millions around the world through mass media.

Extensive Lighting with Full Emergency Back-up
Our lighting specialists operate and maintain the immense lighting system at the Holy Haram. They also operate and check the battery operated emergency lighting at some of the entrances that are crucial in case of failure of the main system. The ground floor and first floor system consists of two types of chandeliers and corner lighting. The lighting systems include operation and maintenance of projectors, floor lights and the control room for all the Haram lighting.
