| SBGOM is the Caretaker
of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah
In 1988, 
(SBG) acquired Saudi Services Company Ltd. (SSCL) to offer Operation
and Maintenance services in the Marketplace. In 1990, SBG established
a new subsidiary United Saudi Maintenance & Services Company (USMS)
to expand on those fields of activities. The following year the Presidency
of Haramain entered into an agreement with SBG to Operate, Maintain
and handle all the General Services works at the Two Holy Mosques
in Makkah and Madinah. Thereafter, SBG Board of Directors took the
decision to aggregate their Operation & Maintenance activities
within SBGOM division while SSCL and USMS, the affiliate companies,
to center their activities in Specialized Services. SSCL in the fields
of Electro-Mechanical and Civil works and USMS in the fields of Horticulture,
Irrigation, Landscaping, and General Services work respectively.

Today SBGOM range of services has widened considerably to cover in
addition the industrial and semi-industrial centers, as well as high
technology maintenance such as steam and gas turbines, boilers and
heat exchangers, power plants, chiller plants, water and sewage treatment
plants, airports facilities, shipyards, dry docks and other major
Commercial and Residential complexes.
