SBGOM Human Resources plan the company manpower needs, trace their movements between projects, maintain their data bank and organize our labor pool. H&R make sure that all employees receive appropriate training. Technicians are subjected to tests under each area of expertise.

Training is scheduled on a quarterly basis. Over 2000 employees are trained yearly on mechanical, management, and ISD methodology and quality aspects. Different training is scheduled to each group of employees. Courses are given outside company premises with vendors for new equipments. Between 1000 and 1500 training certificates are issued yearly and up to 3000 hours per year training courses are given.

Manpower Growth Upon their inception, SBG O&M workforce of engineers, technicians, support staff and laborers amounted to 1000 employees which today, have grown ten folds to reach 12,000 employees.

Safety
The safety motto of every maintenance family is that “Safety is the concern of everybody”. Safety manager is the custodian of SBG O&M safety procedures. Safety awareness program has been established to cover all work hazards to enhance and promote safety awareness amongst SBG O&M employees. Safety coordinators have been appointed at the projects, they act closely with site managers in consultation with the safety manager at the Jeddah head office.
